Bonnie Stabile is an Associate Professor in the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University, where she is currently the Director of the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program. She teaches courses in policy analysis, policy and program evaluation, and ethics in the Schar School's master's programs in public policy, public administration, and biodefense, and was the 2019 recipient of the Schar School's Teaching Award.
Professor Stabile is Founder and Director of the Gender and Policy (GAP) Center at the Schar School. Her recent research projects and publications include an interdisciplinary investigation of sexual assault policy; and an examination of the role of gender in public affairs education.
Professor Stabile serves as Editor of World Medical & Health Policy, a peer reviewed academic journal published by Wiley.
Professor Stabile’s federal government work experience includes acting as Installation Coordinator of a U.S. Army post in Amberg, Germany, and as a Program Analyst for the Federal Home Loan Bank Board. From 1989-1993 she was Program Coordinator of the Senior Managers in Government Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
