Want to double the impact of your contribution? Many companies will match a gift to the Schar School of Policy and Government. If you or your spouse works for an employer offering this benefit, contact your personnel office about a matching gift. Depending on your employer's program, it can be made online, by automated phone system, or with a paper form to be submitted with your gift.
How does the matching gift program work?
When you make a gift to Schar School, your employer makes a gift in your name as well. For example, if you make a gift of $100, your employer may contribute a corresponding gift ranging from $50–$200, depending on your company’s matching policy.
What are the advantages?
Donors who obtain such matching gifts achieve a double benefit. They have the satisfaction of knowing their gifts to the Schar School of Policy and Government have been leveraged and they are recognized by the School for their effort in helping to arrange for the matching gift. As a donor, you will be credited with the total combined contribution of your gift plus the corporate match.
