Master’s Student Services

The Office of Student Services in the Schar School of Policy and Government provides professionally delivered academic advising to all master’s students. Upon admission, students are assigned to an academic advisor who will serve in that capacity for the duration of their program. Student Services provides counsel on the full range of academic issues including:

  • Course selection and program planning
  • Registration issues
  • Academic concerns
  • Degree progress
  • Transfer credit requests
  • The interpretation of academic policies
  • Resource referrals

The Office of Student Services also conducts degree audits and monitors student compliance with academic policies and procedures. Advisors collaborate frequently with the Office of Career Development to aid students in matching their academic plan with their professional aspirations.
