Biography
Matthew Guse is a financial analyst at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, where he is active in the development and publication of the Financial Accounts of the United States.
Since joining the Board of Governors in 2016, Matthew’s work has ranged from international financial policy, including work on euro area markets during the natural gas shortages following Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, to the flow of funds within the United States economy. He has presented at conferences hosted by organizations including the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development and the International Monetary Fund, and recently worked with the Bank for International Settlements as a visiting statistician.
Matthew holds a master’s degree in Global Commerce and Policy from George Mason University. He is from Saint Jacob, Illinois.
