Biography

Terri Snow Markwart is an adjunct faculty member at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. She teaches a course on government and politics.

She is a veteran of several local, state, and federal campaigns, and spent several years on Capitol Hill working for the Senate Agriculture Committee covering a wide range of agriculture and non-agriculture trade issues, tax policy, marketing orders, Commodity Futures Trading Commission (futures, derivatives, and swaps), and more. She recently stepped down as president of a large nonprofit in Northern Virginia where she managed one of the largest and most active parent-teacher organizations in Northern Virginia. Snow Markwart is also a founding Impact Team Member for TEDx Tysons.

She is a graduate of Indiana University and holds a master of arts in international transactions from George Mason University.
