Schar School Master’s and Certificate Virtual Open House: November 12, 2020
The Schar School of Policy and Government was ranked #2 in the world for security studies programs by U.S. News & World Report in 2019. Find out what sets all of our graduate programs apart this Thursday, November 12, during our Master's and Certificate Virtual Open House. Former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, who is now a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Homeland Security at the Schar School, will also greet prospective students and share insights from his extensive security experience.
Andrew McCabe, currently an intelligence analyst for CNN, will teach courses in national security and related topics beginning in the spring semester. He joins other distinguished faculty in the Schar School, including former CIA and NSA Director Michael V. Hayden; former Vice Chair of the National Intelligence Council Ellen Laipson; former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe; and many others encompassing a wide range of expertise.
