Policy Exchange: Smart Cities in the Post-COVID Era
You’re invited to attend a virtual session for prospective students to learn more about the Schar School of Policy and Government and our graduate programs.
The concept of smart cities has attracted considerable attention in recent years. One of the emerging challenges for cities is how to incorporate social, cultural, and technological trends with policies, planning, and implementation, alongside and integrated with existing traditional transportation systems, such as highways, roads, and fixed-route transit. How will key planning and policy issues change post-pandemic? What challenges and solutions will need to be re-considered for transportation in a smart city?
This session is ideal for students interested in the Schar School’s Master’s in Transportation Policy, Operations, and Logistics program, but all prospective students are welcome to register.
