Sample Class: Cultural Strategies for the Global Economy (Feb. 26, 2019)
This course sampler will explore the role of technology and culture in international commerce. These factors are generally assumed to be constant -- the so-called ceteris paribus condition -- in most economic analyses. In practice, this has meant keeping out or marginalizing the influence of technology and culture in human affairs. This course shows how technology and culture can be incorporated into short-run and long-run economic thinking.
Date: Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Arlington, VA Campus)
