As public, private, and nonprofit organizations face unprecedented changes due to external factors beyond their control, leaders in these organizations often request the help of change management or organization development (OD) consultants. Using content from a sample of courses, program director and professor Thatchenkery will share the three levels of competencies needed to be successful as a management consultant. He will demonstrate how students in the ODKM program learn and practice individual, group, and organizational-level consulting competencies throughout the duration of this weekend executive program.
Date: Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Arlington, VA Campus)
Professor: Tojo Thatchenkery
This sample class is ideal for students interested in the Schar School’s Organization Development and Knowledge Management (ODKM) program, but all prospective students are welcome to register!
