Terri Snow Markwart is an Adjunct Professor in the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. She teaches a course on government and politics. Ms. Snow Markwart is a graduate of Indiana University and holds a Master of Arts in International Transactions from George Mason University. She is a veteran of several local, state, and federal campaigns and spent several years on Capitol Hill working for the Senate Agriculture Committee covering a wide range of agriculture and non-agriculture trade issues, tax policy, marketing orders, Commodity Futures Trading Commission (futures, derivatives & swaps) and more. She recently stepped down as president of a large non-profit in Northern Virginia where she managed one of the largest and most active parent-teacher organizations in Northern Virginia. Ms. Snow Markwart is also a founding Impact Team Member for TEDx Tysons.
