Eric McGlinchey

Bio

Eric McGlinchey is Associate Professor of Politics and Director of Graduate Studies for George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government. He is the author of Chaos, Violence, Dynasty: Politics and Islam in Central Asia (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2011). His current research investigates (1) international litigation of Central Asian assets and (2) United States policy responses to crises in Eurasia. McGlinchey is the recipient of grants from the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of State, The U.S. Department of Education, and the Open Society Institute. McGlinchey received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2003.
