Amanda Attiya is a Policy Analyst for the CDC Foundation on a contract with Washington DC’s Department of Health. Amanda works with the Office of Government Relations to identify and analyze areas of policy concern for DC Health and serves as a liaison between DC Health, the DC Council, and other executive departments in the district.

Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Mason University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration with a double concentration in Public Policy and U.S. Government Institutions and a minor in Health and Social Policy. During her time at Mason, she served as a Schar School Ambassador, Mason Ambassador, Resident Assistant, and Student Government Senator. She currently lives in Bowie, MD where she spends her free time dancing, editing other people’s essays, and searching out the perfect NJ-style bagel.
