Brett Palat is a 2005 graduate of the George Mason School of Public Policy (now Schar School) with a Master of Public Policy and concentration in Security Studies.  Since graduation from GMU, Brett has held various positions in the national security sector. These positions have previously included employment with the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, International Center for Terrorism Studies, and as a contract analyst in support of the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. Brett’s Professional functions within DOD and DHS were in furtherance of training and prevention of terrorism and Weapons of Mass Destruction. Brett has been employed at the US Department of Justice for over 15 years, and has completed assignments in Washington DC, New York City, Miami and a diplomatic post in Mexico.
