Biography

Ann Romosz, PhD is a senior consultant with over 15 years of experience in consulting research. Ann is skilled in articulating data-driven organizational visions, which result in an improved understanding of human capital, decision-making, effectiveness, and strategy development. Ann’s research is always done through a diversity, equity, inclusion and belongingness lens (DEIB).

Ann’s career began with understanding, measuring, and implementing plans to foster belongingness. Ann has published on belongingness with a scientific lens. Her research shows that environments that foster belonging are more efficient and productive, leading to benefits for the individual, the organization and society. The results of her research motivate Ann to continue to work on improving diversity, equity and inclusion within organizations and among teams. In addition to her research, Ann is a subject matter expert on adult learning theory and has over 20 years of facilitation experience. She uses a constructivist learning approach to develop strong organizational processes, successful leaders and shared knowledge management systems. Ann engages organizations in facilitations which promote belonginess and foster DEIB in the workplace at all levels. Ann has extensive experience managing teams in a variety of non-profit spaces. She has conducted program evaluation at the organizational, government and system-wide levels. Ann prides herself on being a lifelong learner with a strong historical understanding of racism, intersectionality, social justice, and ableness. She promotes psychologically rich and safe spaces where all dimensions of an individual’s identity are valued. Ann earned her doctorate in Educational Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2008. She has held academic appointments in the areas of Business Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Development and Knowledge Management, Educational Foundations and Psychology. Ann has authored peer-reviewed research papers, technical reports, and white papers.
