Biography
Nicholas Miras is an adjunct faculty member at the Schar School of Policy and Government. He is also a consultant for Accenture Federal Services, where he supports federal agencies in the areas of human capital, change management, and strategic communications.
Nicholas earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, where his research interests focused on state politics, federal-state relations, public policy, and the presidency and Congress. His academic work has been published in both the British Journal of Political Science and Presidential Studies Quarterly.
He also holds a B.S. in Economics and Global Business Studies from Manhattan College and an M.P.A. from Cornell University’s Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, where was also a Presidential Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress.
